The floral pattern is created using "block printing," a traditional technique passed down through generations in Ajrakh, Gujarat, India, where hand-carved wooden blocks are used to press prints onto fabric.
Unlike uniform and monotonous machine prints, everything is done by hand, so each piece has slight irregularities, and the appeal of this series lies in its handmade textiles that exude warmth.

The delicate pintucks on the front and back bodice create an elegant impression, and the continuous gathers from there create a soft and gentle silhouette. Additionally, the two-tiered tassels at the chest provide a nice accent even when simply left untied.
This long-tail shirt with a rounded hem looks stylish even when simply slipped on, and the reassuring length that covers the hips and waist is another welcome feature.


Made from maison de soil's standard material, 80-count organic cotton. It is characterized by its smooth texture that doesn't cling to the skin.

We use a dotted textile based on soft, sheer cotton voile.
